If I was Johnson there's no way I'd want Stokes' defence. It's so soft that I reckon they should actually consider acting as defence witnesses at each other's hearings.

I've said it before, and it's not really relevant, but one week we had a night watchman get stumped 3rd ball for 12.
good from these ****sTbf no one told him to be there at the end.
Nervous? England have won once at the WACA in the past 43 years, and Australia have a psychological advantage over England not to be underestimated.Am I the only Australian still feeling a bit nervous here?
Yes, we have it over the Poms in every way possible at the moment. But considering they only need 2-2 to retain the Ashes, if they somehow win in Perth the pressure will suddenly be back on us. Even with a draw, it is not impossible that they could steal a win in Melbourne and Sydney. It's a bit of a dilemma for me, as I will be in attendance at Melbourne; on one hand I would like to see us go in 2-0 and likely see the Ashes decided there. But on the other hand I'd just as sooner se us go in 3-0 so I can watch it without stress!
With the momentum Australia have at the present time heading to Perth it's no time to start rolling the dice at the selection table. Should they win in Perth they'll then have the luxury of thinking for the future with their selections for Melbourne & Sydney. Not that I didn't think Bailey was worth a call-up for the tests, I now think that Hughes should have been given a run at number 6. I know he has flaws, but I also think he would have offered as much as Bailey. Whenever he has been dropped, he has done well and scored runs. That says a lot for his mental strength. Bring back Hughes, he's young and should be with this team. But it won't happen unless we lose a couple of games.
