Don't think it's deliberately a lot of the time itbt. Hard to pick it when he doesn't even know what it's going to do.Can't say I've seen a leftie actually pick Swann's slider. Fmd it's a good rock.
Does it look like this:Bois, gonna use this innings change to ask you a serious question
there's a ****ing massive stick insect just chilling in our kitchen. what should we do. i'm fine with just leaving it there
It isn't a ball he bowls deliberately I don't think, it's just an off break that doesn't turnCan't say I've seen a leftie actually pick Swann's slider. Fmd it's a good rock.
Not quite that simple. He definitely pushes it through a bit more - though I agree that's not necessarily deliberateIt isn't a ball he bowls deliberately I don't think, it's just an off break that doesn't turn

Indeed but I once saw him say something like "sometimes the ball just doesn't turn - it makes me look good", although I think he may have said that to be funnyNot quite that simple. He definitely pushes it through a bit more - though I agree that's not necessarily deliberate
Yeah after I wrote that I thought what I actually mean is "if Johnson can get results like that 3 or 4 more times".But what had changed with Johnson? He's bowling the same stuff as he always bowls.
No one has doubted Johnson's ability to bowl the short ball. But what we have learned today is two things:
1. He still doesn't swing the ball
2. He still doesn't seam the ball
3. There are a few English batsmen who are sub continental against short pitch bowling (Carberry, Trott, Broad, Tremlett)
Isn't that thread you have big enough to contain **** like this?
He varies how much the seam is tilted from the upright position (assuming it is rotating along the seam). The axis of rotation is never quite pointed towards the sky or towards the batsman, but somewhere in betweenIt isn't a ball he bowls deliberately I don't think, it's just an off break that doesn't turn
And how good is it that now he can take as long as he likes this game to get settled? If Warner keeps his head and his form, and keeps Swann out, he'll make bucketloads this summer. Looks so settled at the crease.
EDIT: Rogers, meanwhile...
How. Dare. You.Isn't that thread you have big enough to contain **** like this?
Indeed. Though he's almost got to 50 without breaking a sweatAnd how good is it that now he can take as long as he likes this game to get settled?
Relevant to the match. Smitteh is wondering why Swann isn't taking wicketsIsn't that thread you have big enough to contain **** like this?
I just need to mentally prepare myself before viewing images of Smitteh, can't handle it when he pops up like that and surprises meHow. Dare. You.
