I once got infracted for calling someone an idiot so I hope Daemon gets banned for a month tbh.

I fully expected to be infracted when I made the post. I don't think it will go by unnoticed and if I were a mod I'd definitely take action against it. But let's not detract from the reality of the situation here which is basically you feeling hard done by because people are targeting a player of a country that you support.

I get where you're coming from, tbh. When people make jokes about Tendulkar, Indian cricket, or say things like what Rob did a couple pages back, deep down I do feel like calling them ****s and fiercely defending my country. (It's the same reason why English posters get so touchy when we mention their imports ftr) But I called you a knob because you decided to irrationally defend Dhawan by bringing up an equally dickish yet unrelated incident involving Watson, as if all the posters here were unfairly conspiring against him and India or something.
No matter what I do, you do not have the right of being abusive or offensive towards me, if there's something wrong, you can criticize me, but you can't cross the line. Did I say something offensive to you? Did I abuse you? No rite? Then why do you have to overreact.

Okay, now that we've had about 1000 infractions in this thread, could we please move on, discuss the cricket and most of all remember to actually listen when Spark lays down a warning? Cheers guys. :p

Yet another match/series/year where India refuses to admit that pace bowlers exist or even have purpose in the game of cricket. Don't worry though, i'm sure South Africa will take pity on you, LMAO.
Yet another match/series/year where Australia continue to dream of having a decent spin option in their side since Warne retired. Don't worry though, I am sure South Africa laughed a great deal at you after beating you in your own backyard last year. Go Lyon/Dohery/Agar! LMAO.

Jeesh, I just realised if you give up booze for over a month, and this place becomes infinitely worse, I'll try not to do that again.

I think the best thing that can be said about this series is it's over.

I don't disagree completely, but I am quite concerned whether Dhawan's technique and temperament is good enough to be successful in South Africa.
I agree, but he deserves the chance to find out. If he bats the same in Tests in South Africa as he does ODIs in India then he'll be found out badly, but I think you do have to give highly successful batsmen the benefit of the doubt to change their approaches to suit. Furthermore, I don't think Vijay's technique will hold up in South Africa either.

If Vijay is terribad in the 1st test, I hope Rahane is given a go. Or Pujara or Sharma will have to open as a stop gap solution.

I share similar concerns with most Indian batsmen tbh, but I think a dasher might have more luck against the SA pace attack than someone trying to play them out with a poor technique

Anyone notice the hint of Sidhu about Dhawan's play? Especially on the front foot or the slap.

Love your work Daemon. Gun post.

Sidhu the only guy by my recollection to genuinely make Warne change his approach, tbh.
