Season is shaping up really nicely. The only thing stopping Arsenal being properly top of the league is Liverpool having a game in hand FFS.

Watching the game now on Sky.

Özil's assist :fap:

I honestly can't remember the last time I was so excited about a season.

Urgh, Man Utd are turgid. No imagination going forward whatsoever.

Edit: Is Kagawa injured? Because if Moyes can't find a place for him on the bench against a team (most likely) doomed to relegation, there's no hope for the lad.
Wasn't overly concerned with todays game, Palace came to defend, and did a very good job of it. Crowded out our players a lot in the final third.

Young was fantastic when he was on his feet, Rooney looked hungry, Fellani settled in well, and Januzaj stole my heart

Only criticisms were Hernandez should've replaced RVP earlier (needed his movement to unlock a stubborn defence), Zaha should've replaced a rather one dimensional Valencia, and Anderson should've been taken outside and shot in pre-season.

Walcott should have had a 1st half hat-trick.

Any Arsenal forward with smart movement should have a field day with Özil behind.

such a weird side you have with all the assists being giving into such profligate forwards, imagine if you still had van Persie. Really thinking of backing Giroud to be top-score this year, even though I don't massively rate him.

Watching MOTD, and yeah that was a silky first-touch from Mesut, you can see why he's the king of assists.

Giroud top scorer isn't the worst bet actually, and unlike you I really rate him :p

Still kinda wish we'd picked up Eriksen as well but that's just me being greedy.

Surely that Man Utd penalty incident is exactly where video referees could be used in football?

Clear foul, quick word to a guy looking at a TV screen to check whether it's inside or outside the box.

Shame about that decision, took quite a few slo mo replays to decide it was outside the box, yet McManaman was going insane about it at FT on BTSport. Really putting Halsey on the spot to say the ref got it wrong.

Ref had a really good game IMO. First two pen shouts both me and the old man screamed at the TV for them, only to agree with the ref on the replay.

Glad to see Moyes call out Young for his dive though, but he should note that he hasn't learnt from Fergie doing the same after the QPR one a few years back. Now Bale's gone, and Suarez is banned, the focus on diving is going to be on him.

Yeah, I pity the cheating bastard a lot myself.

Anyway interesting that Ross Barclay is getting his chance for the Toffees this year, got a mate who is an Everton fan and he's been talking him up for awhile, didn't really get a chance with Moyes, but now's there talk united may want him for 20 million.

Remember when GF supported Rangers?
I know they were dark times, but a glory-hunter has to change with the tinting of a few half-decent players (glad someone got my sarcasm over scotlands finest chatting about Arse as if it was his own team).

Sometimes I think my snark goes unnoticed, and it's a tragedy...
