Haha Napoli too! Man that's a nasty group, just as well you only got Marseille second.

TBF it's not the worst going in with three fairly-good teams, there's a good chance they'll take points off each other. It was being drawn with two good teams and one dud that did for Chelsea last season.

Lol City, third year in a row they get an almighty toughie. Good luck with that one.

Nah, that's a draw that you have to expect when you're in the third pot, it's not comparable to the last two. United not quite got the cakewalk we expect, still should go through. Chelsea piss-easy, Arsenal will struggle if they don't buy anyone good, they're out I reckon.

Tbh considering they were third pot, they got off pretty lightly. Still can't wait to see them make a pig's ear of it.

Yep, after the other 3 English teams got nice-ish draws after pots A & B were done that left a lot of toughies for Man City. ~40% shot at being in B or H, which would have been really tough. As it is they should get 2nd. The only tricky bit is if CSK manage to be tough at home, but they've lost there a fair bit recently from what I remember.

Obviously the CDMs drew relatively tough teams from C & D, but that's life.

I thought it was a pretty good draw for Citeh. A few nasty trips in there that might disrupt their season and obviously Munich are ones to avoid, but they'd have to properly balls up to actually go out to Plzen or CSKA Moscow, neither of whom I'd expect to have much about them. Avoiding stinkers in the second pot like PSG, Juve and Atletico Madrid was the most important thing for them.

Yeah no easy games, but the good thing is they'll probably take points off each other. 10 or 11 points might be enough to win the group.
Yeah, would have thought so.

Leverkusen not up to much but I really like this Sociedad side, they may do **** all but am tipping them to be the neutrals favourites this year.

Hmm I'd only half agree. He's brilliant at pressing from the front but when he plays on the left he doesn't track back. That's why Wenger didn't start him in big games.
In comparison to the player who used to regularly appear on the left (pictured below), he's a defensive god.

Feck's sake. Thank gawd we got Marseille from Pot 2, eh?

Reckon we're cornholed short of Arsene loosening the purse strings.

Nah, the signing of Flamini has been officially announced today, all is well in the world.

Speaking of which, Flamini's interview with Arsenal.com is just turd.

“I have some unfinished business with Arsenal so it's a great feeling to be back.
"Once you're a Gunner, you're always a Gunner."
What a load of crock. Unfinished business? Maybe the reason it's unfinished is because you refused to sign a new contract and buggered off to pastures new. Always a Gunner? That's also a strange thing to say, given the way he left.

Don't get me wrong, I'm pleased to see him back, and Arsenal need anyone they can get at the moment. But let's not kid ourselves, everyone, the club, the fans, Flamini himself, they all know the only reason he's been re-signed is because it's basically a marriage of convenience that suits both parties. Had he not been out of a club there's no way he'd have expressed an interest in coming back to Arsenal, and there's no way Arsenal would have made a move for him. That's all fine, but to come out and speak about his love for Arsenal as if he's Tony Adams or someone, nah, whoever put that interview out must think the intended audience is as thick as two short planks.
