Bangladesh is third though so it doesn't really say much. Reckon it'll go down by a bit if you take out Abul Hasan's innings
Last time I checked Azhar Ali and Misbah both play for Pakistan, why would you exclude them?Pakistan doesn't count either, Azher Ali and Misbah drag them right down
Whether or not Watson bowls; he's fit to bowl. So my original retraction of all my previous comments stands. If Wastson doesn't bowl does Cribbage have to take everything back?
I've suddenly found a point of interest
Woakes is pretty rubbish at OD cricket IIRC.Faulkner reminds me of Woakes in the fact I think he is a decent one day cricketer but can't see him doing much at test level.
His stats are currently but I think he will make a decent one for England. What I meant - apologies.Woakes is pretty rubbish at OD cricket IIRC.
Doesn't move the ball much but is smart and has good temperamentFaulkner looks a similar quality bowler to Woakes so far, left arm variation should help him though. He looked like a talented bat in the brief chance he got 1st dig I thought.
Scoring rate has an awful lot more variables that the batting tactics, so I'd say one year isn't really enough to get a fair picture of the sides. Every side's faced different attacks in different conditions.Average Test Run Rate in last year

The outstandingly low SRs of both these players recently aren't representative of the rest of the team I think. Whereas England have had most of their batsmen willing to dig in for long periods this series and othersLast time I checked Azhar Ali and Misbah both play for Pakistan, why would you exclude them?
Yeah he's in an unfortunate spot; his player type is much more useful in one day cricket but his actual skills with both bat and bowl are more suited to Tests. What he needs is for the ICC to introduce a "maximum 18 overs per bowler per day" rule in Test cricket.Woakes is pretty rubbish at OD cricket IIRC.
Very much my thoughts on Woakes, I don't see either being fixtures in there respective sides but if they can carve out that option as the 3rd seamer who can bat 7 they should both be around for a while.Doesn't move the ball much but is smart and has good temperament
Reckon this tour is too early for him but he may well turn out to be a very good test cricketer
Kinda like thatSiddle looking for one to hold it's line from wider on the crease here.
Indeed, there's pretty much nothing useful you can draw from the stat.Scoring rate has an awful lot more variables that the batting tactics, so I'd say one year isn't really enough to get a fair picture of the sides. Every side's faced different attacks in different conditions.
Not disputing England are relatively defensive, ftr
