*Official* Fourth Test at Chester-le-Street

Norwood's on Fire
I think it's the first time in 26 years where we've already won the series going into the last test

Imagine if you had missed the day and were just checking in to see the 8pm highlights, without knowing the score. Would be devo.

Clarke shouldn't be too critical of himself. I've said it already this series but he always seems to get the golden balls.
I think it was Uppercut who pointed out earlier that England step up their effort whenever Clarke's at the crease.

I wonder if Strauss and Botham have been discussing Strauss's opinions on declarations and the follow on before coming on air

What a win. Didn't look likely at 5pm today, but we've pulled it back magnificently. Broad came back after bowling awfully first up and produced a magical spell. The 3-0 scoreline is harsh on the Australians. This Australian side just don't look like they know how to win though, and that has been the difference. England have won the key moments of the series, and overall I'd say we deserve to win the series. Good signs for England though that we can win a series with a failing opening partnership, our number 3 out of form, a terrible looking number 6, an out of form wicket-keeper bat, and the bowlers taking turns at having days off, with no-one really stepping up and winning us matches on their own consistently. If we could get 80% of the team playing well, we'd have smashed this series.

Will be tougher in Aus where the finger spinners have less of an impact. Reckon our quicks are on a par with there's, at best.
