It's because too many people seem to think Tests are just a long form of T20 where the batsmen can just skip down the track and slog however much they want.England fans in never crediting the opposition bowling side shocker.
tbf it tends to happen. Some of us can remember the way England's 2010-11 performances were dismissed on the basis that Aus were the worst side ever and other teams were lining up to win 3 games by an innings over there. That was complete crap of course, which is why I find our performances over the last 20 months mostly unacceptable. No it's that all series when England have been bowled out cheaply, ie most every test, no credit is given to the bowling side. It was the same against NZ too. There's a recurring theme among England supporters on here that whenever the team gets rolled cheaply its always the batting and never attributable to the good bowling of their opponents.
Who the **** is this?Anderson smashing them here. Good shizz
Big lungs. Blows hard all day.Seriously, picking Harris for this Test was a serious mistake. 10 overs in and he's blowing hard.
It shouldn't be hard for you to understand that people tend to focus on the performance of their own team. And as others have said, most of us have been full of praise for the Aus attack, so I don't really get how needy you appear to be about it all. Anyway, enjoy your day, you're well on top hereI'm suggesting all series, nay all summer, the soap dodgers give no credit to opposing bowlers. Is it that difficult to understand?
Anderson's approach was perfect for the situation he was in. Looked like he had the ****s tbh.Who the **** is this?
238-9 not an awful score in the context of the strengths of the sides an the conditions. By all means we should be looking to score more having won the toss but I think this will be a close test match.
Spikey help. How do I find this on statsguru? Can only find most overall runs from 1-11 in a series, or most runs by a particular number 11 in a series.I assume Jimmy has just sealed this series as the highest scoring series for a number 11 ever?
They were serving up rubbish for most of the post-lunch session, unless you think Trott was going after them ala KP - although he does seem to posthumously run down the wicket these days. It's because too many people seem to think Tests are just a long form of T20 where the batsmen can just skip down the track and slog however much they want.
I don't think Australia's bowling has been particularly outstanding but it has been incredibly disciplined. England's batsmen have scored slowly because there's been very little for them to really score off, it's not like last series where they gorged on a wide variety of pies.
