He wasn't batting that badly really, has done very well since IMO.
Did not look good over here, seemed very conservative as well. Don't think that had anythign to do with him keeping though and his approach has certainly gone back to the way it used to be after that Perth innings. With Amla and Kallis in the side South Africa can afford to have him as an agressive wicket-keeper batsman, think that may have to change when Kallis retires thouggh.

Hmm, with such a thin noise I don't think you can blame an ump for missing that and that hotspot does actually look like it's on the back of the bat...
**** yeah but if you're using a DRS based on technology you abide by it. It's moronic to have a review system if you're not listening to it in the close cases.

It's not just this once, this whole series has been frustating because DRS is used, only to have the umpire make a call that is completely irrelevant to what DRS shows. From Khawaja to KP, I've just been disappointed by the umpiring.

So you're saying he should never umpire again because a marginal decision (ftr Snicko is irrelevant if the noise is that thin) came back inconclusive at best.

I see. Keep up that fantastic logic there. How about you wait until an actual howler before losing your ****? Won't have to wait long.

What's your point? That Dharmasena has been a great 3rd umpire throughout the match?

Would be a real bonus if this partnership is broken before stumps, these 2 could kick on a bit tomorrow if we don''t

Pleasantly surprised that Broad has kept mostly out of trouble.

Bit disappointed he didn't ask for a nightwatchman.

Just looked at the forecast for tomorrow and Monday. If anything it's worse than the last one I saw. This game isn't going to end in a result.

Lyon has absolutely turned a corner, I don't ever remember him drifting the ball that well, nor do I remember him getting that kind of turn and bounce (except in Dehli at times), would love for him to pick up 5/100 or so, England will probably end up about 7-300 by the end of the day and the game will be all but drawn, really good from Australia these last 2 days.
Pretty rank posting by me for the first half, but the bold section ain't too shabby

Decent day of bowling from Australia, didn't really get the rub of the green. The draw looks pretty nailed on now.
