You can't just ignore his scores in India though.Yeah, Hughes has been terrible all series if you discount the really important dig he played in the first innings of the first test.

but at the same time smitteh faced a solid hour of Anderson in the last session of day one first test when he was swinging the **** a mile both ways, this is harsh on hughes but it could be argued he scored a lot of his runs at an easy time when Agar was flogging the ****s to all parts. really not much between the two but i reckon smitteh should stay cause he's probably the slightly better all round bat when you consider he can score both sides of the wicket and he's a far superior player of spin, plus he's the better fielder and can bowl a bit.Hughes was brilliant first dig, first test when every other batsman failed. And that on a dry wicket taking some spin.
sure we canYou can't just ignore his scores in India though.
I'd have thought the reason is painfully obvious...wtf is with loaning of players to different counties for warm ups. shouldn't be allowed imo.
Mutually beneficial, no?wtf is with loaning of players to different counties for warm ups. shouldn't be allowed imo.
doesn't make it right... how about organise a match with the Lions so the Aussies get a good challenge and all the test hopefuls can play, Sussex couldn't even give us Goffers ffsI'd have thought the reason is painfully obvious...
Haha, yeah.Yeah, Hughes has been terrible all series if you discount the really important dig he played in the first innings of the first test.
He bowls straight pies and plays all his home games on a green top. Only the fourth best bowler at Tassie. What do the Australians here think of his bowling. He is certainly medium-fast but his First Class record is far better than Starc and only slightly worse than Bird. Surely he must bring something special with the ball to average 23. I'm not saying he should be picked or anything, but I'm just wondering what people who have seen him bowl often think.
Is Krezy still playing for them? Or is it Doherty? Trying to think who the third one is.He bowls straight pies and plays all his home games on a green top. Only the fourth best bowler at Tassie.
I assume he is referring to Bird, Hilfenhaus and Butterworth as the three superior bowlers. Is Krezy still playing for them? Or is it Doherty? Trying to think who the third one is.
Indeed.I assume he is referring to Bird, Hilfenhaus and Butterworth as the three superior bowlers.
