Remarkable game of cricket.

Thank you England and Australia for this game. It feels great to be back at watching and enjoying test matches after the IPLs and CTs and what not!

Superb performances from Bell, Siddle, Agar, Haddin, Pattinson, Broad. My MOM : Anderson for his 10.

That edge wasn't the problem.

Aus win without the Agar/Broad howler.

And pretty much every lineball England LBW was given not out and upheld with DRS, every lineball Aussie LBW was given out, and upheld by DRS.

England very lucky.
Ahh well, we'll live with being lucky winners, and you can live with being gracious losers, oh no you won't even have that will you. Nevermind.

Lets be honest, it looked out in real-time. The only reason the umpire gave it not out I guess was because the Aussies had no reviews left and they knew the Poms would review it.

Fantastic match from start to finish. Hope Aus can pick themselves up and maintain this standard throughout the series. If so it could be a real cracker.
Glad it's not me that has to, I would be destroyed for months.

England win easily without the Agar stumping howler.

Quit moaning you sound very bitter.

Pffft howler, there was at least a benefit of the doubt. As with the Trott LBW, for all the English bloating about snicko, snicko confirmed there wasn't a Trott edge.

England won playing dirty, win at all costs cricket, well done. Was hilarious after all the **** Broad copped in the Aussie/English press after the non-walk, he then resorted to ****ing time wasting? lol

He's going to seriously enjoy his welcome down under in about 5 months.......

Absolutely undeniable fact now. Back in 2010/11 they had depth but that just just isn't the case anymore.
Finn has been dreadful in 2013, time for a break for him. Broad bowled ok but you wonder how much the shoulder is hindering him. Bresnan shouldn't come in for Lord's as he is useless there but they may call him up for his reverse ability. I'd go for Tremlett over Onions as Vaughan reckons Tremlett was back to his best against Yorkshire.

Yep, England did look pedestrian when Anderson started cramping. Lunch break probably saved them. Finn in particular really disappointing

Hang on a second...some joker on FB (might be bull**** for all I know) just posted a sequence of images showing that the snicko was well after the ball passed the bat

The sound was also well after ball passed bat

And to top that off, I switched to cricketweb when they showed the snicko and missed it :(

Are we sure the snicko was actually at the right time?

Congrats to England, awesome match. Shame that the reviews will be talked about heaps as there were many memorable moments in the Test. Absolutely love Tests where the first innings scores of both teams are in the 200's.
