Terrible decision. It had very little going for it, Pollard is one big man and has come down the pitch, clearly got hit outside the line and above the knee roll with quite a distance left for the ball to travel before hitting the stumps. No thought gone into that from the umpire.
Makes one wonder why the umpire even had a single brain cell thinking it was out........ It happened in a completely harmless situation, but still....
Yes was never changing the shape of this game. But it was an easy decision to say not out to, let's hope he doesn't make another blunder when it matters more.

The WI and SL boards are so cash-strapped that they abandoned the scheduled test series and made it ODIs, while they invited India over so they could actually make some TV money out of it. At least it's a tri-series and not a bloody bi-lateral series...

Apparently the pitch gets easier to bat as the day goes on, but the WI players have batted well so far.
