What if everybody did this? Then what? Hmm?no relevance to this game but
Just protecting his economy rate stat.Cook not bowling Bopara yet suggests he isn't gonna play in the CT as the 5th bowler.
When that kiwi bloke ****ed your girlfriend did she snapchat you during the act or did she just leave a note?Just protecting his economy rate stat.
The Essex sadsack [robably wishing he was a Kiwi so could be classed as right arm fast.
Unless Cook's decided that spin's the better option on this track. I could live with having Bopara as a 5th bowler and batting at 7 behind Buttler tbh. Nearly got rid of Taylor there, which would have been the end of it.Cook not bowling Bopara yet suggests he isn't gonna play in the CT as the 5th bowler.
One of the rare occasions a Kiwi was faster than he claimed. When that kiwi bloke ****ed your girlfriend did she snapchat you during the act or did she just leave a note?
good from you.One of the rare occasions a Kiwi was faster than he claimed.
I think Bresnan can be used at seven on very good batting tracks when he's likely to come in at 250-5 rather than a pitch that's doing a bit and he's walking out at 90-5. Obviously on the good batting decks if we can five specialist bowlers in that will help, but I do like Bopara at six/seven for pitches where his bowling will be effective and he obviously adds batting depth. Is it asking too much of Bresnan to bat him at seven?
Failing that I'm at a loss as to why England didn't select a Trego or a Stokes or similar allrounder for the position. With all those counties to select players from surely there is a decent limited overs allrounder in there somewhere?
New Zealand are not going to win but it's nice to see them keep their heads rather than collapse to 150 all out. Nathan McCullum has placed his shots nicely in this innings so far.
