This guy knows his stuff.Nah, NZ should take it out by 5 wickets.
They should give Munro a crack in the next game!I still think McClenaghan looks short of a gallop, and Franklin's bowling may be our achilles heel if he can't tighten up a bit.
Due to the squad structure either he or Munro has to play and both are very hittable bowlers. NcCullum and Dougeh can't bat at seven.
This completely makes sense when you watch his bowling imo.Munro's list a econ rate is 6.19 - that dashes my hopes of him being played as the 5th bowler.
Strangely his FC econ rate is less than 3.
You would imagine so, there can't be that many players who've played for 2 Test nations post WWI.Probably already been asked, but is Ronchi the first player to play for both New Zealand and Australia?
He's got an above average bowling action. This completely makes sense when you watch his bowling imo.
There's a reason noone bowls 120ks in high level LO cricket - not fast enough to trouble anyone but just fast enough to come onto the bat nicely. Combine that with low arm trajectory and any limited overs batsman that plunks their front foot forward will have a lot of success hitting straight or over the top. Might benefit from dropping his pace to Nathan Astle level and working on variations.
In FC and his test he's accurate enough, swings it and probably just not worth the risk to push for more than an easy three per over. An adequate fifth bowler... Pity about the batting.
