I said that when they were going at 4 an over and they are still going at 4 an over...and they just used up all the powerplay. Maybe I am being harsh as the outfield at Lords is diabolical at the moment, but solid starts aren't going to win us the CT

If you think back to the NZ series the starts were similar. Seem to go steady early then go big in the last 10-15 now. Almost gone back 20-25 years in style. Might work in England in June in CT too.

No doubt about it, the advent of T20's has made sides realise that with wickets in hand you can get 120 off the last 15 and 90 off the last 10 without too much fuss.

Watling is a capable enough keeper, so its more a case if Ronchi is a better bat than Brownlie

No. Not convinced Watling is one of the top 6 batsmen in the country. It's Ronchi or Watling.

Continuity ffs. You can't change the test keeper on the evidence of 15 overs. Also, should they say to BJ, "Yeah, you're an opener. Wait, we need a keeper. Nah, **** that, get in the middle order or **** off, ****."

Raunchy does look good, though.
