McLaren shouldn't be stepping over at his pace. Don't feel for him at all.
Well that's just not true. McLaren pushes it up to 140kph, and he probably puts just as much effort relative to his body's capabilities than someone like Steyn does well into the 140s. It's annoying, but as a one-off, it's hardly something to get angry for.
btw whats with the pink? Looks horrible
Momentum Pink Day. Insurance company Momentum is doing a huge charity donation thing - donating huge amounts of cash to charity dependent on how many 4s/6s and that sort of thing, to a breast cancer charity iirc.

Steyn shouldn't be stepping over at his (non-effort) pace either.

Misbah's ****ty dismissal coming back to haunt Pakistan. Afridi was eventually going to hole out, but if Pakistan had a batsman still there it still would have been possible.

Hey? It doesn't matter how slow you are. If that is the fastest you can possibly bowl, you're exerting the most energy and hence it is not that "inexcusable" to overstep.

Completely understand the point MrPrez is making.

And you're missing the point that at full-tilt he is still not fast enough to excuse no-balls.
That's just not right though. At full-tilt means he's pushing his body to the limit, which is just the same as a quicker bowler pushing his body to the limit. It's not a case of how much energy you're using, it's a case of, relative to your abilities, how hard you're trying.

It's a bit like saying a 5 year old kid should have less sore muscles than than a 25 year old if they lifted weights that were equally difficult for their bodies' capabilities.

Then he's just not talented enough. This isn't a schoolboy team where everyone is special. You are judged by your relative prowess.

I haven't been here in ages - who's The Jacket?
Wahab Riaz - reference to footage appearing in NOTW regarding his scummy behaviour during no-ball gate.

Man The Jacket can hit a ball. Serious shot here, good old Pakistan.

If only Umar Gul was playing too.

Yes, and just because he's slower, doesn't mean he's poor?
