still no rain as yet.

The ball may swing a mile in this weather. Should be plenty of drift for Monty too.

Going to be very tough.

No swing so far - it's drizzling a little apparently. If Williamson can survive the first few overs and get himself in again, I'd like to see him bat all day (between the showers).

If Fulton can continue to hang around that would help too.

Anderson's bad back; Finn runup and accuracy all over the shop yesterday especially after tea. Lot relies on Broad and Panesar and that is if we even avoid the rain.

For ****s sake Fulton

They were just showing replays of his bad tendency to prod outside off and he goes and does that.

Yup, surely Fulton's last test innings. May have made 45, but was damn lucky to get that many and is just a walking wicket.

No ball could easily have been given. So tight and not a great decision if you are a New Zealander. Bloody marvellous one from an England point of view though.

I don't have the sound on at the moment and wasn't really watching. When I looked up and saw the reply of the wicket I had assumed they were showing the first innings dismissal again. Carbon copy much?

Why did Fulton have to take so long to do that? Can't he just do it in the first over and be done with it.

That was just **** **** batting from Fulton, from a man who should know better. No swing so he never needed to play that. Gives England a sniff where they shouldn't have had one.

Meh, Fulton wouldn't have lasted much longer anyway, so I wasn't really bothered by it. I would have be gutted if it was Taylor, Williamson or McCullum.

To be fair on him, he's just not up to playing at this level, so I don't really blame him. It's the selectors fault.

If you told me Fulton would average nearly 34 in the series after the second test, I would have taken that.

Already a conversation between the umpires about the weather but they seem happy to stay out for now. Expect to see Peter Kay running around the boundary proclaiming, "It's spitting! It's spitting!" any minute now...

That was about five overs ago. Has the weather improved at all since then?
