His FC record overall isn't that great - but this is the first time I've seen him bat - looks great here but I can easily see him suffering. We'll find out in SA - just based on this innings, he has probably booked a ticket there (how many Tests between now and then?)Dhawan is a poor man's Sehwag, will get found out soon enough

HIs expressions are priceless The last after the 4 byesLove the way every time Dhawan hits a four, the camera moves progressively closer in to Clarke's face.
yeah but he scored that century when he debuted in 2010 and then another debut ton in hyderabadVijay debuted in 2008 against the Aussies, ftr.
He's had 3 comebacks against the same team now and done decently.
He will do good on flat pitches and reasonably well on turners. Pace will be his problem I guess. If he can be consistent on Indian pitches, it pays to persist with him, but if he is going to be terrible overseas and hit and miss in India, then no point. His FC record overall isn't that great - but this is the first time I've seen him bat - looks great here but I can easily see him suffering. Feel sorry for him TBF. Reminds me of Dravid in England a little bit.HIs expressions are priceless The last after the 4 byes
Footwork is pretty non-existent against pace but when you're hitting as well as he is, who cares? He will do good on flat pitches and reasonably well on turners. Pace will be his problem I guess. That's some gambhiring worthy of the innovator himself.I'm surprised most things have been on the ground. (Saying that, watch him get out to a lofted shot)
