The Wheel is Forever
Dhawan is a poor man's Sehwag, will get found out soon enough
His FC record overall isn't that great - but this is the first time I've seen him bat - looks great here but I can easily see him suffering. We'll find out in SA - just based on this innings, he has probably booked a ticket there (how many Tests between now and then?)

Well, i've been somewhat of a fan of Dhawan since his U19 days and nominated him for a few BOTFC's but this was a bit unexpected.

Guess, he can dominate in such conditions but on Debut this has been impressive.

None, if the Pakistan series doesn't happen.

He is a compulsive puller and has a problem with balls coming in. Can sometimes throw his wicket away too due to concentration issues.

Vijay debuted in 2008 against the Aussies, ftr.

He's had 3 comebacks against the same team now and done decently.

He will do good on flat pitches and reasonably well on turners. Pace will be his problem I guess. If he can be consistent on Indian pitches, it pays to persist with him, but if he is going to be terrible overseas and hit and miss in India, then no point.

Footwork is pretty non-existent against pace but when you're hitting as well as he is, who cares?
