****. Two wickets already and I don't trust Hughes and Watson to dig in here.

Unlucky decision but a poor shot from Cowan. I have supported him but I've just about run out of patience.

If he doesn't do something in the 2nd innings and Khawaja/Maxwell/whoever replaces Watto in the final 2 Tests cashes in then he's gotta be dumped for the Ashes.

He's been given 15 consecutive Tests now and an average of 31 just is not good enough unfortunately. He and Warner have formed a handy partnership but given Watto's success as an opener in the last Ashes it may be best for the balance of the side that he returns to the top of the order.

Yeah Warner will find it difficult to dig in here.

Cricinfo has Maxwell above Henriques with the bat, I hope that doesn't happen - I would probably prefer Moises at 6 just given his form.

Cowan has now been dismissed LBW more than any other type of dismissal

Yea, he bowled badly but FFS, you have to give your spinners some time to get used to conditions. You have to bowl differently here. If you think someone was going to be clearly better, fair enough, but it makes no sense to just keep playing debutants, everyone of which has to go through their own learning curve.
