That would seem to be the case. It would be odd to have a non-Clause ad-hoc pick after the 11th Round.

Yeah It's certainly one of the toughest clauses. I have a clear strategy with it though but it involves a fair bit of risk. Archie Jackson was the best player I could find with it so good choice

All-round records | Test matches | Cricinfo Statsguru | ESPN Cricinfo
My thinking was that any batsman/allrounder worth his salt would've scored a ton at some point.

For bowlers

I looked at the lowest highest scores and then for any player that I deemed reasonable, checked it against their debut.
5 Test limit was because the number of notable cricketers who played 1-5 Tests can basically be counted on one finger, and nope, his highest score wasn't on debut.

Blakus got mixed up, so he could either

- take Hobbs under another clause (def available under other clauses)
or
- select another player (but not Archie Jackson)

But if Blakus chooses to select another player, it only seems fair to me that Marcuss should be able to re-select in order to take Hobbs (if he wishes to do so).
