I just reread the 438 game's match thread for nostalgia's sake.Talk about a game being decided in the first 5 or so overs.
Heh, did the same less than a weak ago.I just reread the 438 game's match thread for nostalgia's sake.
Games are never over.
No chance. Even if NZ do miraculously get to 270 or 280, it will be much like the next game and England will just cruise virtually in test mode. The only way to out pressure on this English line up is to ask them to score a run a ball from the start which isn't natural for the likes of Cook and Trott.Well same as last match we've got an unknown quantity in Woakes, a rusty Swann, and a Broad who doesn't look quite right, and no back-up, so not over yet.
He's gotta bowl his 10 sometime, and tbh, keeping our best bowlers on long didn't really help last time. Might as well give Woakes and Broad some overs with a hard ball.Decent start that from Woakes. Don't mind him on as long as they keep Finn going.
Urghh, Broad. Why?
