290-300 par?

So, once you waste the first 10 overs you're basically having to score at 7RPO for the remainder of the innings just to get to something competitive.

Yeah, lets go with that plan.

Good to see McMillan finally talking about the elephant in the room whilst all the other commentators are just gushing over the bowling saying there's not much they can do.

Well same as last match we've got an unknown quantity in Woakes, a rusty Swann, and a Broad who doesn't look quite right, and no back-up, so not over yet.

Yes Ian Smith Sunny Gavaskar did say to the bowlers "you can have it", in fact, he completely gave up when chasing a score over 300.

"You can have it" all right.

No chance. Even if NZ do miraculously get to 270 or 280, it will be much like the next game and England will just cruise virtually in test mode. The only way to out pressure on this English line up is to ask them to score a run a ball from the start which isn't natural for the likes of Cook and Trott.

Not a fan of McMillan's commentating, but he's absolutely destroying Smith in this discussion.

Decent start that from Woakes. Don't mind him on as long as they keep Finn going.

Urghh, Broad. Why?
He's gotta bowl his 10 sometime, and tbh, keeping our best bowlers on long didn't really help last time. Might as well give Woakes and Broad some overs with a hard ball.

Yusssssssssssss

Up to 2 per over. On track for a solid 100 here.

Just saw highlights of Finn vs Watling at the start. Admittedly that was damn good bowling and hard to blame Watling too much.

Hey I'm gambhiring in the new language, or just being English in the old.
