Talk is Dilshan and Samaraweera will retired after this series and Mahela after Bangladesh which I think is at home. Sangakkara may hang around for another year or so.

I would back Bangladesh to beat us the way we are playing.

Dilshan will be playing till the next ODI World Cup. He just wants to retire from Tests, so he can T20 cash bunny.

I actually think we need blood some new talent. Some of the older players especially Samarawerra and Dilshan are going through the motions. In terms of batting there is some talent coming through, who I think will be better then the likes of Samaraweera and Dilshan, if they get a chance.

What's happened to Chandimal?

He had three bad limited overs series in Sri Lanka and dropped down the pecking order. He is next in line, but they have lost some confidence in him. He has never really been in the top 6 in the Test. I also don't think they really know what his role meant to be; top order batsmen, middle order or keeper batsmen.

I would have played him ahead of Prassana as a keeper batsmen. With Prassana as with his technique he was never going to score runs in Australia.

At present Upul Tharanga, Kapugedera, Chandimal and Thirimanne.

But if the retire over two year period hopefully the likes of Angelo Perera, , Sachithra Serasinghe, Roshen Silva and Bhanuka Rajapaksa still up and push for selection.
