Leaving Bhaji out was a big mistake. Need the batting.

Swann straight back into the attack for Yuvraj? Or will Cook prolong the agony and see if Yuvraj can get out in the other way he likes, caught in the slips on the drive to a quick.

Edit: Swann straight back into the attack.

Fighting his game more now than I can ever remember. Credit to him that he is sticking it out but looks a shadow of the great player he was.
That whole period before and including the Double century at Sydney in 2004, imo when he was going through a long poor patch. Cut out 2 of his most frequent scoring shots and grinded his way through.

Ignoring his excellent form against Australia?
Averaged 37.5 in 8 innings. Hardly excellent.

He's looked in good touch in every innings. He times it well. That's not the issue. He just keeps getting out softly and without many runs. Throws his wicket away.

The difference was that even when he was out of form at that point, he never lost the ability to work balls into the legside.. The primary problem these days is that he is getting beaten trying to do that.

But his footwork just looks really, really jerky here. He looks almost shotless short of a rank pie.
