so basically he was just guessing?I don't see why Dar had to think so much about that either, with bat pad catches you either think he's hit it or he hasn't, it's not like LBW's where you have to recall whether it pitched, where it struck and whether it's missing the wickets.
Yeah exactly, completely agree. Swann even assumed he was giving it not out.I don't see why Dar had to think so much about that either, with bat pad catches you either think he's hit it or he hasn't, it's not like LBW's where you have to recall where it pitched, where it struck and whether it's missing the wickets.
not a bad tactic at allTwo spinners opening rofl.
Should just bowl 5-6 spinners all match and give Zaheer a rest. Yuvi, Sehwag and Sachin can have a trundle.not a bad tactic at all
no....Zaheer can be given a go with the old ball.Should just bowl 5-6 spinners all match and give Zaheer a rest. Yuvi, Sehwag and Sachin can have a trundle.
Was just taking the piss smali. Was just kidding around.no....Zaheer can be given a go with the old ball.
Didn't he do better with the old ball in the last test as well?
Besides with only 4 overs to go to lunch it was a good way to apply pressure on England
oh ok.....thought you were seriousWas just taking the piss smali. Was just kidding around.
No way in hell. Not when you're carrying Bell especially and Trott (God bless the great man) is not doing any better.I wonder when the pressure to drop KP gets to be too much? Surely he doesnt have a large leash given his past transgressions? Dropped after the series if he doesn't perform.
KP will play the ashes double header and may well retire after that. We won't drop him with that so close now as with Trott in no form and Strauss retired and Collingwood not replaced we have a couple of weak areas in the batting already, why give ourselves more?I wonder when the pressure to drop KP gets to be too much? Surely he doesnt have a large leash given his past transgressions? Dropped after the series if he doesn't perform.
If you have bad bowlers you don't have much of an option... still, not complaining, last thing we need right now is more men around the bat.So many do that now these days, why set fields for bad bowling?
it wasn't bad bowling....Cook had used his feet to play into that gap.....Dhoni should have persisted with that to try and draw out an error....not playing it out like a T20 and start saving runsSo many do that now these days, why set fields for bad bowling?
It wasn't bad, sometimes it is just a good shot. After all these guys can play a bit. They just do it automatically as soon as a boundary is hit so often.it wasn't bad bowling....Cook had used his feet to play into that gap.....Dhoni should have persisted with that to try and draw out an error....not playing it out like a T20 and start saving runs
