What troubled me with Ponting's dismissal was he was so late on that, his front foot was more than half a foot up in the air when the ball took the edge. That would be embarrassing on second watching for a player like him.

Morkel just bowled a similar delivery he did to get Ponting out and Clarke played at it as well. Not so easy to leave those imo.

****ing Mark Taylor talking about mindset and aggression at 3-50 - it's like a Pup Clarke post. Tubby was basically Cowan on steroids. Hardly aggression all over.

Just ****ing bat how you bat, and adapt it to the state of the game if need be.

Someone will play a Haddin-esque shot here then Tubby will be all over him like calamine lotion.

Punter has a few more innings left this series but rewind until before the Indian series and he deserved to be dropped after his performances against SA and NZ coming off a protracted leanish trot. He than flayed a toothless attack and was modest in the Caribbean. If he doesn't succeed against SA the selectors should act because runs against the Lankans won't guarantee Ashes success.
