Makes no sense that he's batting at 3 then. A player like that shouldn't be anywhere near the new ball.Yeah, as I said before it's his biggest weakness and he loves to snick off as a result. Just has to get bat on everything when he first walks out. He actually leaves a lot better once he's set; he's one of those guys who needs to get a few away early though. And he didn't today. Didn't really expect him to get out like that though.
Thank god Michael Clarke is in now!so this whole leave the ball thing right
he should have slog swept it, ftrNah, **** off, you can't bag Ponting for not leaving that ball. Not easy to do at 140Km/h especially early
.
what would you know you don't even own a batNah, **** off, you can't bag Ponting for not leaving that ball. Not easy to do at 140Km/h especially early

It ****s me, tbh. That's exactly how you want to go after someone as a pace bowler. Any straighter and it wouldn't have drawn that uncertain shot, any wider and he could have more easily left it. Was pretty much the perfect ball to guys who know how to bat.he should have slog swept it, ftr
Can confirm you have your bat in hand.what would you know you don't even own a bat
His average at #5 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> #4. He will go there however when Ponting/Hussey quit. Why doesn't Clarke face the new ball music?
Ok he was found wanting at #4 but surely after the runs against the Indians he has the confidence to step up again.
