Hey bois.

In Montreal, been too busy eating poutine. Wonder how many people get the Little Mermaid aspect of SBI's post.

On the game, how annoying is it when the best team of the year doesn't win the flag? Guess that's just the way our system works, and the better team on the day (and they were after quarter time) wins even though they weren't the best team for the year. Spose Hawthorn stole one in 08 so it evens out.

On the Goodes issue.... thank you all for proving my point. He has a middling game, albeit under duress with his knee, and is praised as the second coming of Jesus. How about Ryan O'Keefe who I've been talking up as better than Goodes for years??? Such a much better footballer than Goodes. Sooo much better.

Could not believe Dawes was 24. Assumed he was like 28. Completely forgot he was drafted in 2006.

The normal awards that everyone else has
Dawes and Wellingham swap for an early pick would be ok for the Dees. **** knows they need something positive. If they don't win some games next year they could fold. Should be forced to move to Tasmania imo- Tasmanian Demons. And North Melb can move anywhere, maybe the NT.

Nah the good oil is Richmond already in talks to play half and half out of Darwin and Cairns, the management have been impressed by their performances in the games up there, got close to Port and GC a couple of times.

Speaking of praising Goodes, this was Brad Scott, North Melbourne coach, on Goodes when he was injured and not playing vs. North earlier this year:

"I'm sure Adam Goodes checks the fixture every year to see when they play North Melbourne," Scott told reporters on Thursday.
"If he's out of form, we play him back into form.
"If he's in great form, we put him in better form.
"It's obviously a huge loss for them and he's a terrific player, a player we've struggled to counter in the past.
"It's disappointing for them, but we're mildly elated."
Scott said the Swans' star would have given the North coaching staff the biggest planning headaches this weekend had he been playing.
"Go back and have a look at the games that he's played against us, he's just absolutely dominated against us," Scott said.
"It shortened our match committee by about an hour this morning."

Gonna pop out to the Sydney AFL grand final parade on George Street right now and tell Goodes that Benchmark00 thinks he's **** and that he should have got more touches with a ruptured PCL.
