Not sure how he's loveable. Would just stick with the first part.

Australian mens tennis has been in disarray since l00ch retired.

Loveable probably wrong term. I like him, because he's such a car crash. It's like a dumber version of Philippousis, without the bevy of celebrity conquests.

I can understand stage fright as a 17 y/o in a grand slam semi against Nadal, Novak or Fed but second round of the US against a guy ranked outside the top 20 is hardly the big stage for a someone hoping to crack the top 10 one day. He's not strong enough mentally, and he'll have to grow up fast if he wants his career to go anywhere.

He's referring to Tomic basically admitting he was, at least partially, intimidated by the size of the crowd and the occasion (A-Rod saying he'll retire at the end of this tournament).

Clearly Murray upped his game, but Cilic has always been mentally weak and this is just another case of it being evident. Led 5-1 in the 2nd set ffs.

At this rate will never crack top 5.

Wish Murray would stop grabbing parts of his body in pain when he's losing, and then magically stop when he's winning. Its not like he takes medical timeouts either, its just this weird habit which serves no purpose whatsoever.
