As a test player tho he's now finally getting his due props but think he's still mildly underrated as an ODI player.

I actually think he's both. Seemingly under-rated by a lot of former players/commentators but slightly over-rated in parts of CricketWeb. Under-rated in greater numbers and by bigger margins generally than he is over-rated though.

Overrated. Very talented, but generally rated for his talent, and not performances (his performances have been rather good, but not exceptional as a whole). I don't believe that he has performed better than someone like Inzamam or Jayawardene. But he was higher than those 2 in CW's rating IIRC.
