Have to feel so much for the kid, got bogged down through some very good bowling and missed one that was pretty much straight.

Still 95 when 4 of our top 5 scored 20 or less is a great effort from a young man playing in what are interesting circs. Must've moved himself back ahead of Taylor in the pecking order.

Loved those graphs comparing the first overs to the kid, and the five overs to the kid today, with the new ball.

Philander has bowled well during the series, he just lacks that little bit of nip that you see him get where, in spite of his lower than average pace, the ball skids/hurries onto the bat.

Didn't see much of the NZ-SA series to compare, but wonder if it's the surfaces or just a form thing.

the first two pitches were pretty slow and horrible. he will be a real handful here this summer
