1 run in the last 40 minutes. The lad bottled it.
You'd have thought, Swann won't be able to resist, but there's a risk that we might hit a quick 20 or so.Tahir time?
He hedged his bets when he was almost in a no loss situation. (Going again for Duminy, even though he had him and Philander already) Not the greatest sport gambler of our time. :Phaven't had a daemon betting update today either
Might be a ball thing.Philander has bowled well during the series, he just lacks that little bit of nip that you see him get where, in spite of his lower than average pace, the ball skids/hurries onto the bat.
Didn't see much of the NZ-SA series to compare, but wonder if it's the surfaces or just a form thing.
the first two pitches were pretty slow and horrible. he will be a real handful here this summerPhilander has bowled well during the series, he just lacks that little bit of nip that you see him get where, in spite of his lower than average pace, the ball skids/hurries onto the bat.

Possibly, although seamers on the whole prefer Dukes to Kookaburras. I know McGrath, who often is mentioned in the same breath as Philander, has said he preferred their more pronounced seam.Might be a ball thing.
Had tons of edges fall short tbf.Philander has bowled well during the series, he just lacks that little bit of nip that you see him get where, in spite of his lower than average pace, the ball skids/hurries onto the bat.
