SA are bowling well, but if you take that attitude, he won't score a run ever. Sometimes you have to force the bowlers to bowl badly, not just hope they do, because as we've seen all series, SA rarely bowl **** spells for too long.
I am not going to make sense but - my crazy theory is that when the bowlers are on top you should give them their due. They will be bowling faster and they will be in the zone. Shots that you would normally get away with will fail at these moments because they (the bowlers) will get more movement and have more speed and most importantly you won't play with conviction and 100% confidence because they are on top of you.

You can't sit around and let them dominate you all day for sure - but you can for a 5-6 over period after they have taken 2 wickets and then you can start working the singles and putting away the bad balls and go from there.

There are ebbs and flows to batting.

dont like how the comms describe that as "congratulations simon taufel, spot on"

obviously not a bad decision but could have easily gone the other way.

I'll go 1 step further and argue that anything that ends up in an umpires call should have been given, but may not have been a "bad" call.
