Yeah Montreal tournament was a bit of a farce, so many players pulling out or tired. Good on Novak for defending his title though.

Murray defending his title here in Cincinnati.

Meanwhile Rafa still taking time off. Reckon he is priming himself for the US Open, could really be a good shout to take that one out.

Pretty shattered by this news, but at the same time, my prediction all along that JMDP will be primed and ready to win his next Slam at the US may have just gotten more possible now that Rafa is out. Draw could be open if he's lucky and is on the right side.

he still has to go through fed, nole and a re-born murray...there is no right side of the draw...

Yes there is, because it prevents having to face one of them in the quarters if you're on the side with only one of the top 3 seeds. Obviously to win a Slam you have to beat the best players, but its better to come up against as few of these players as possible. He "only" has to beat two of Murray, Fed or Nole in a row instead of three of them if he's on the right side of the draw.
