If you've listened to the interview with Agnew then no he's not after attention, Agnew asked him if he could give any assurances that he's playing for England after the next test match and he didn't want to get into it in the middle of a series and eventually said no he can't because issues have to sorted out.

Amazing how people just presume he's at fault.

He'll play on, I'm sure he will. Reckon he'll hang it up after the away Ashes next year.

Hope so, sounds to me like they still haven't sorted this one day retirement stuff out that happened before the series, they've probably decided just leave it till after this series to talk out.

In fairness the tests against NZ are as close to pointless as you could get, just make the Ashes 7 tests or play ZImbabwe because at least they'll put out a full side.

We're going to India in a series that won't have DRS I think he'd more than handy over there really would rather not have another debutant in India.

I for one hope he stays. He's great to watch and makes Test cricket more enjoyable. And we need at least one or two diva's in cricket.

that may be true, but he wont be leaving the number 1 side in the world, after the next game that title belongs to us

Well done on getting sucked in to another KP attention seeking spat. You'd think after the 1000th you'd stop being so gullible. Poor Kevin, ECB is out to get him.

Fair effort by both sides to try and force a result on the final day, but the weather just won out in the end and it's all down to Lords for the finale.

Would rather not focus on the KP circus for what he has or has not said in an interview after the Test, his innings on Saturday should be remembered for a long time and should be the main focus where KP's concerned. I appreciate there are times where he doesn't help himself, but what a player he can be.

Well anyone can hear what he had to say, it's on the BBC web site but hey I'm the gullible one for listening to it and forming my own opinion, instead of just coming on here and calling him names for no particular reason, if that was aimed at me above, what a load of **** tbh.

To be honest i couldn't give a bollocks what he says as long as it's not offensive, just enjoy watching the bloke bat, people have different opinions deal with it.

Thanks bud. They're not bloody pointless for some of the poor sods down here who pay decent coin to see decent cricket, but hey ho.
They are if half the team isn't going to turn up for the first team then expect to just walk back into the team for the next game. At the bare minimum its disrespectful to the people who do pay to not field a full side.

And GIMH: Past form but I wouldn't want to be throwing in a player who's never played in the SC in a series that big.
