Or Richards scoring 325 in a day, then continuing on to 356 (before he was given out to an atrocious decision) against an attack featuring Lillee, McKenzie and Lock?

I know these aren't test matches but it gives a pretty accurate idea of how good he was

No one is doubting how good he was. The rules clearly state only the performances in the TEST CAREER will come into play. And 5 tests is far far too less to be considered as a career IMO.

Aldo, as a matter of fact its Somerset who took time to check for Richards's debut year, I did the same thing and would have loved to have him in my team.
