Bravo needs to rotate the strike better. Converting half of his dot balls into singles and he'd be playing a really good innings. Just too many dot balls.

Top knock from Russell, yet again. Crazy that he's coming in at 9.
I remember that time he almost got WI over the line against England in the world cup, he's always looked a far better batsman than his supposed position.

Problem is he, Bravo, Pollard and Sammy are all too similar. Only three should play, probably two.

Narine in ODIs at home: 21 wickets in 10 games @ 14.09 (ER 3.16)
Narine in ODIs away: 4 wickets in 5 games @ 55.50 (ER 4.82)

Significant? Or too early to draw a conclusion?

Hmm NZ's best hope against Narine would seem to be hitting hard and straight, in the hope that it does him an injury and they don't have to face him in Test cricket...

Only significance is he's very inexperienced outside of his home conditions

The more he bowls the better he will become

Too early, but with a bigger sample size it'll be worth keeping an eye on. I'd suggest he'll go pretty well in the sub-continent.

These two aren't a chance of keeping up a rate of 6+

Could be a career defining innings from Ellis here. 35* (40) would get us home and prove that he can take the Oram role of #8 / 4th seamer in the one day side for the next couple of years, and possibly through to the next World Cup as a 33 year old.

Otherwise we probably better looking to Neesham now, IMHO he's the obvious long term option.
