i didn't actually see it this time but... "Excellent delivery, good length around off stump, it shaped back to beat the forward push of Cook and caught him around the knee roll bang in front of middle". People selling McKay short again
It was a good nut tbf. Not one of his "decent but hardly wicket taking" dismissals.

In Australia's innings, Broad bowled a no-ball and definitely changed the field for the free hit (sent a couple of guys onto the fence on the leg side)

Are the different rules for the time of the innings (e.g. outside power-play) or was that just an umpiring **** up?

You can change the field if the batsmen cross.

The batsmen ran a single so the field is permitted to change. Different batsman faced the free hit delivery.

Bell has played more false shots in these 2 innings than he did against the dross he faced on the last Ashes tour

Bowling on Trott's pads now, is it? That'll work well.

& drifts further down leg for Ding Dong.

Johnson might be many things, but boring he ain't.

Some people might be excused for being rusty but having seen him before ....

Having said that, he's been very quick so a big bag of wickets is probably just around the corner

Mind you, no idea why Pattinson isn't playing in front of him

If Lee hadn't gone in before him I'd have said it was the extra batting. As it stands, gawd knows.

Nice lofted drive from Bell, there. Think he fancies Watson on this deck with how he came to the ball.
