God Johnson is such a liability. And I for one will always be grateful for that.

Dough-brain in early, interesting move.

Is the idea of choosing slightly *ahem* circumspect batsmen at three a case of Aus trying to find their own Jonathan Trott? Forrest's List A record certainly suggests he's more of your top order accumulator. Quite like the look of Bailey though, tidy enough.

Better him at 3 than 5, and Clarke seems to have given up on batting at 3 for some reason.

i didn't actually see it this time but... "Excellent delivery, good length around off stump, it shaped back to beat the forward push of Cook and caught him around the knee roll bang in front of middle". People selling McKay short again

Eh Cook? Must have nipped back but I wanna see a replay of that, looked straight tbh.

Edit: Did a tiny bit tbh, just think McKay is a case of does juuust enough. Just.

Well, at least the run rate will start to slow dramatically now, and Australia will welcome that.

I just hope Bell keeps up the momentum, the last thing England needs is to get bogged down now, after such a good start.
