Question for you Aussies, seems a lot of messages on cricinfo saying Wade is wasted at 7 and should be higher up. Not seen enough of him myself so can't really comment but is that the way Australia should go with him? Maybe put him at 3.
Open

Good enough to do it and improves balance of side

IMO openers in odis need to be able to score hundreds - Warner definitely can, Wade has a test 100 but Watto is a 50 man

Watto has 6 100s, but when was his last one and how many has he squandered?

the question is whether 8 off 9 balls is good enough to ensure Johnson will bowl like a demon

Watson averages 40+ with an SR of 85+, doesn't he?

The Aussie batting stocks must be pretty well off if his place is up for debate.

Watto's never had much of an issue with converting in ODI's. It has been a long time since his last 100, but I guess given how relatively infrequent hundreds are to come by in this format it isn't really that alarming. There's probably a bit of undue prejudice towards him not converting as well because of his problem with it in tests. his last 100 in this format came 20 innings ago, but he has had longer periods without scoring a hundred.

Random thought based on that statpage - but does Steve Waugh hold the record for most ODI wickets without a 5-for? He's got a fair few...

Relying quite a bit on Morgan with this sort of chase, can see the openers starting off as carefully as possible to make sure it doesn't come down to Bres or lower.

Already sick of Jaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiimee Rogers on the TAB ads.
So glad it's not just me that feels this way.

Moderate sort of total from Australia. Forrest looked terrible out there sadly, there has been a number of innings now from Forrst in which his strike rate has been below 50. Also, how come Finn didn't bowl his 10 overs?

Dussey's dismissal ended any chance of us scoring a good total.

It's just shoddy, isn't it? It's tight, but when you shave the line like he does...

Glorious club from Bell too; steps back and gives it plenty.
