Garner is very under rated tbh.

Was as good as the other top pacemen of the 80s i.e. Imran, hadlee, and Marshall

Because they are THE most important factor in any Test team, with the spinners a close second.

Fast bowlers win you Test matches. Batsman don't.

In other words, you could have a team of 10 Bradmans and 1 wicket-keeper and you'd win diddly squat. Or something extremely close to it.
