We didn't doctor anything as far as I'm concerned. If the conditions naturally suit our needs, then so be it. It's part of the advantage of playing at home. Like you said India aren't gonna prepare pitches that give us an even advantage to them, so why should we do it when we play at home?It's not about "suiting our needs", it's about preparing a pitch that suits BOTH TEAMS so we can have a good contest, what are england gonna learn from this series exactly? you'll doctor the pitches and push ropes back, win 3-0 and then when it comes to playing a decent team on more even terms like India away you'll get embarrassed again!!, that's what England can't seem to fathom.
