Why Pakistan insist on picking five bowlers when Hafeez is in the side and the have a weak batting wicket keeper is absolutely beyond me. Afridi at six is laughable.

Pakistan I don't think need six bowlers. With Hafeez in their they can play four front line bowlers. Pakistan are feeling the loss of Abdul Razzaq it seems.

Pakistan can easily bring in a specialist bat. I don't know what the hell is going through misbah and whatmore's mind?

Secondly why hasn't younis khan been kicked out of the LO sides yet?

Pakistan's problem lies with their batsmen apart from Hafeez are not able to bowl. SL fields only three frontline bowlers, and there are three all rounders to fill in. Malinga, Perera, Kulasekara and Herath were SL's main bowlers and Mathews and Dilshan are expected to share 5th bowlers duties. Pakistan has no one reliable as Dilshan as a sixth bowler. A gaping hole that loss of Razza has created.

Younis and Azhar can both bowl. Four bowlers plus Hafeez should be enough anyway when you consider how bloody effective Hafeez is in ODIs with the ball and the problems they've had finding a wicket keeper who can bat at international level.

Look, I am a huge Younis fan and have always respected him but he isn't the greatest of ODI players and he needs to hang up his shoes in that format now and give someone else a chance.

@ PEWS, just joking, I have been guilty of following matches on cricinfo.

It's lucky that we at least had two T20s and two ODIs. This is the monsoon time and usually it's heavily raining. It must be El Nino this year. Monsoon is yet to arrive, and the heat is unbearable getting up to mid 30s.
