**Official** Pakistan in Sri Lanka 2012

Once again peranniel failures making the team, and flopping badly. Lokuarachchi should never be even in the A team. Tough on the guy, because he used to be a Warne esque bowler spinning it a yard. Some bright coach tried to teach him the flipper and googly by changing the action and he has lost it for ever.

It's high time now that younger players picked. Angelo Perera can muscle it, and bowls left arm spin too, and is a worthy replacement for Lokuarachchi.

We just got our arses saved by Perera and Mathews. Batsmen better pull their socks up.

No one is better than Akmal

So annoyed with LOI squads that were picked, on top of Sangakkara hogging his #3 spot in the line up. de Mel needs to grow a pair and just drop him from all of SL's LOI.

Lol, De Mel will never grow a pair. BTW I like a playing XI like below and it's high time for SL to plan for next WC.

TM Dilshan, Mahela Jayawardane*, Bhanuka Rajapakshe, Dinesh Chandimal, Angelo Mathews, Angelo Perera, Kusal Janith+, Suraj Randiv, Thisara Perera, Nuwan Kulasekara, Lasith Malinga

Reserves: Lahiru Thirimanne, Shaminda Eranga, Sachithra Senanayake

Dilshan MJ and Malinga may not make the next WC. Mathews has to take up the captains duties, Bhanuka Rajapakshe to move to the openers position with Mathews, Thirimanne, Chandimal, Angelo Perera to make up the middle order. Roshen Silva may join that squad too. When Malinga walks out, Eranga to take his place.

In 2015: Mathews*, Rajapakshe, Chandimal, Thirimanne, R. Silva, A. Perera, Kusal Janith+, Randiv, T. Perera, Kulasekara and Eranga.

Sanga and Mahela will never be dropped, it will be left up to them. Not only are they great players but more importantly to the SL cricket board they are big names who draw in crowds and fans (money basically). Its similar to India, the big names have value beyond their cricketing ability.

Am I the only one who finds Pak kit disturbingly bad? Whats with the ****ing yellow stuff up their bottom?

How dare you compare SL fans to that of India's? Our fans are lot more knowledgable and most of them in the view that Sanga should retire from T20 ASAP, and from 50 over matches after that and concentrate on test cricket. Mahela is OK in LO cricket, because once set he does improvise and score quickly. SL fans are always not fans of big hitting and half hits clearing boundaries. Here we appriciate good bowling, tight bowling, boring bowling as well as boring batting too, if it helps in the course.

Another batting flop by Pak, can't say it wasn't expected after our period of consistency. Umar Akmal really needs to start delivering as I can't remember the last time he did anything of significance, and as much as I like what Shoaib Maliki can add to the team I jut don't think he's cut out for T20Is anymore. To be fair to the new keeper he does have a pretty good domestic T20 record....

Learn to bat Pakistan, you'll be world beaters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What rubbish!

There might be a handful, but saying Sri Lankans flock to grounds to see Mahela and Sanga bat is an absolute crap statement.
