Awesome performance from Richmond, really had to win to be realistic finals contenders and they're right in it now. Would have had Hawthorn still as flag favourites before this round but they've been completely ordinary. Has to be the most open season in years now, the three big contenders before the season all have questions on them and the other form teams are just moving into a premiership window now and haven't played a lot of finals with their current group. Gotta be 6 or 7 teams that could realistically win it.

Essendon
Carlton

Think the Swans is a reach (as Saints are demonstrating) and I can't see Carlton stringing together enough wins against the better sides to emerge victorious from a finals series, but yeah, as open as its been since I started paying attention anyway.

swans are interesting. they've got the talent to spring some upsets against top 4 teams, but man that forward line

She's a real marque, flashpoint match next Friday

Tigers v Saints

As far as finals are concerned, the loser leaves the country

Awesome game so far at AAMI. Collingwood looking more polished going forward, but it's unbelievably even everywhere else.

Tippett playing his best game of the year by far just in time for contract negotiations.

Jesus, Thomas was ridiculous when it counted. Collingwood just too good, Adelaide fumbled and dropped marks at key times and the finishing from guys like Thomas, Pendlebury etc in the last quarter was great. Great game for three and a half quarters though, finals intensity.
