Norwood's on Fire
In the words of Liam Gallagher, "Fergie? Probably been on the whiskey."

All probably part of his mind games for next season mind. Be interesting to see what happens over the summer.

Nasri getting in on the act now apparently - quoted in the Times as telling Arsenal to "celebrate their third-place achievement" while he focuses on winning titles at City.

Joseph hit with two violent conduct charges, and word is that Sparky is to tell him he can do one from QPR.

Ha, if that's the case he needs to get off his pedestal. His contribution to any success City had was pretty negligible, and in fact it was nearly him who cost them dear by failing to track Jamie Mackie in the run up to QPR's second. Unless he seriously ups his game it won't be long before City get someone of greater quality in to replace him imo.

What a load of toss. Surely he didn't actually say that because it's one of the most ******** things I've read.
Yeah, AWTA, has surely been taken out of context, because like you say, it's mind-bendingly stupid otherwise.

I've been his biggest critic on here but he's had some splendid games for us down the stretch, he was the best player on the park against Chelsea a month or so back and has been pretty consistent for the last 3 months. He's a **** and not worth what he's paid or what was spent to purchase him, but he hasn't been that bad lately.

Also, it's not just him at fault for that second goal. Kompany dove in for a challenge he didn't need to make on the halfway line, leaving the space open for Mackie in the first place, for example.

Fair shout. You've no doubt seen more of his games than I have, so I'm happy to take your word for that.

Guess it's just his attitude that irks me, and sour grapes on my part etc...

Won't make their best side if Hazard comes in but he will never look out of place in a very fine side just not going to be truly exceptional.

Nasri certainly has been better in the run-in, but he was really poor against QPR, Citeh need a better option than him if Silva isn't clicking, and yes Hazard will be that man. Nasri can then gloat from the bench.

The Premier League 20 years team as voted by, well, everyone who voted:

Schmeichel; Neville, Vidic, Adams, Cashley; Ronaldo, Gerrard, Scholes, Giggs; Henry, Shearer

Not much to argue with there - Keane, Vieira, Cantona and Bergkamp probably the most notable omissions but it's hard to begrudge any of that lot their places in the team. Gerrard's inclusion at the expense of Keane and Vieira a small fan-voted consolation for his omission from the Top 10 players shortlist.

i was thinking about Vidic..did he had huge impact for manu..have not followed manu so not aware
Great defender, and has been sorely missed this year, I'm not a fan of JTs, think he's incredibly slow, so like Sean I'd put a number ahead of him, Bruce and Pallister perhaps. Bruce was just as slow, but his goals and last ditch challenges certainly helped kick-start United's despotic rule.

You know what you're going to get from Nasri really, lots of efficient possession football and almost no goal threat. Hazard's definitely better but Nasri will be useful coming off the bench to close games out.
