*Official* English Domestic Cricket 2012

Nice to see Kane Williamson getting a few more runs on the board. He was out in the middle early on against a pretty formidable new ball duo in Sidebottom and Bresnan on what sounds like an admittedly slow deck. He really has the potential to be one of the very best batsmen in world cricket, last season he showed glimpses of coming to terms with English conditions, while this season certainly looks like being more productive for him and Gloucestershire.

The headlines will unfortunately be stolen by another Andrew Strauss failure despite a fantastic effort from Michael Lumb and Alex Hales innings will not have gone unnoticed by the England captain. I would not back against Strauss making an impact and turning his fortunes around against the WI, but naturally he'd have gone into the series in a better frame of mind with some domestic runs under his belt.

heading down to new road today hopefully to see surrey bat all day. Got physio first so probably get there 45 minutes late, no doubt that'll mean the top 4 are dismissed.

Williamson must of put the foot down something chronic, was on six when I went to bed last night, off 40 odd deliveries. Hoping he gets underway today too, will hopefully manage to listen for a good hour or so.

33 for 5. At this rate you'll see more batting from Worcestershire than Surrey today.

Surrey providing the lols today. Kevin 'best I've ever played' Pietersen probably should have waited till he played in these conditions before making that bold statement.

Why should he of, he actually said 'I feel like I've never batted better,', nothing wrong with that he's scored 4 hundreds in the last few of months in each form of the game, nicking off in his first game in English conditions doesn't take anything away from what he says does it.

Rudolph opening up now. Reverse sweeps and laps are out. This and the Middlesex game are pretty much the only games where a positive result is still on.

Shafayat has come in and done a good job for Hants so far 63* off 89 balls.

5fer for Bres, from the sound of things he's bowled excellently and finding his best form for the first test it seems,

I do not enjoy watching Bresnan bowl but you cannot argue with his exceptional performances in recent years.

The hell is going on in Bristol? Collapse to 299/9 before declaration bowling?
Looks like it's going to be a one inning game each and see who wins, obviously not Yorkshire forfeited their innings and Glous are batting again., 356 ahead already with 4 sessions and dodgy weather tomorrow, wonder how this is going to all pan out.

In other news Ramprakash is having a stinker of a season so far, a pair in this match.

Hoping for Worcs to not bat at all today. :@

A pair for Ramps, doesn't bode well does it.

Major bail-out by Stevens and Jones to get Kent to 227, their nine colleagues managing 11 between them.

That's insane. Extras third leading scorer with 7.
