Gonna compare that light-hearted truth with calling someone a rat? Had nothing to do with you anyway, not sure why you'd reply. Still a bit sore, perhaps.
Haha ah, so that post was aimed at me then. Stop taking things so personally.
Contrary to what you seem to think, my dislike of Suarez/Liverpool has nothing to do with you.

It not being over makes Dalglish angrily signalling to the ref that it was in by 'this much' all the funnier. WAC.

The difference between Liverpool's performances in the first and second half of the season shows how much better Lucas now is than Gerrard, imo.

Not sure what Arsenal had to do with Suarez lacking class so maybe have a look at what you're saying yourself before having a little moan.

He's a good all-rounder, with great lungs. I'd say his notable skill is recycling of the ball. Getting it from turnover or in a high-pressed situation and turning it into a comfortable position for us on the ball by picking the smartest option.

He's still young, he'll be good and he'll have role in the team. Amongst our younger midfielders Shelvey is probably the one destined for greater things. If he had more discipline to sit deep or cover for others he'd be playing every game.
It’s a game of opinions but that really is pure nonsense, particularly when yesterday everything what Henderson did went wrong. Gerrard looks at the guy with pure contempt.

Really disappointing game, Liverpool were awful, particularly their captain who was completely anonymous. Captain for the Euros? Doesn't even deserve selection. Carroll maybe a bolter for the squad however, played well for the past month or so.

Coupla years back yer Scousers had Alonso and Mascherano in CM. Now they have Henderson and Spearing.

'Nuff said, I reckon.

I watched the game with a former professional footballer who, having seen Henderson hit a shot 30 feet too high and miles wide, remarked that he could not believe that a guy getting paid tens of thousands of pounds per week could be so technically inept

Anyway, I think it's fair to say that if Liverpool are to challenge for a Champions League place next year then at least half the side has to improve massively or be replaced and that's without taking into account that Reina and Gerrard are probably past their use-by date

Reina makes more gaffes than he used to, but he's only 29, could play on for ages yet. Nothing there to suggest he should be written off in my opinion.

Gerrard on the other hand...also probably not actually. Not exactly ancient. Don't think he's the player he was, but if he can be adapted back into the defensive/deep lying player he was earlier in his career then he could last a while yet.

Yeah, keepers peak later than outfield players. By rights Reina should have another decade in him.

Hints of Barca/Chavs about Citeh at Newcastle: all the possession for the former, but scant few clear cut chances.

Yeah it was but game certainly changed since then though, a lot of tackles flying about and a far more open game, City still the better side though. Feel both sides are going to get chances in second half.

The game got more and more stretched as the first half went on and you have to think that favours Citeh.

Nasri off for De Jong...

Sometimes I just don't see the thought process. 'Specially when there's Milner & Johnson to bring off the bench too.
