India's Next Express Bowler-varun Aaron

Picking someone seeing him bowl well in FC cricket but not being the best there on the reasoning that he can transcend the quality shift of FC-Test is one thing.

Umesh Yadav is a prime example. He was averaging 24(?) in FC cricket when he was picked and has good pace. He was a sound pick.

However if someone is bowling 150 kph and is getting humiliated, picking him for test cricket is a complete, farcical joke which shows either that the selectors are braindead or that they don't actually follow FC cricket with the seriousness that their job demands.

However, and I say this with utmost sadness, In the case of the current Indian selectors, both these accusations are probably true.

Still rate Aaron tbh. Hopefully comes back from his injury OK and the problem doesn't become persistent.
