Leeds/Bradford MCCU are better than most counties it seems. Gave Yorkshire a real scare, didn't they?

Listening to the Essex game, where there is a huge LBW appeal against Virus an over. He really will be in trouble in the summer unless England decide not to bowl straight to him.
Even though he goes at a snails pace, he's far from the worst, just having a quick look around the counties it's amazing how many openers there are out there with a average 30 and below.

FFS batting hasn't turned up at all this season. Stokes getting a relatively quick 30 or 40 seems to be the highlight of our top 6 each time.

Thank god for Sussex.

Zaremba heading for Beachy Head I guess ... how come this isn't first-class? Presumably Sussex were aware of that or they wouldn't have put out what's basically a second XI.
